Hey Hey happy Friday! I figured I would kick off this whole blogging thing with this adorable green tie-front dress. I recently wore it to my favorite place that I’ve discovered so far in my new city. This place for all my fellow “San Diegans” is like the hotel Del of Virginia Beach…. AKA the Cavalier Hotel. If you’re ever planning a visit to Virginia Beach, the Cavalier is where it’s at. The architecture and historical significance of this place is amazing. I have a feeling you will be seeing more of me here in the future.
As far as this cute little green tie front dress goes… I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect summer dress because it can easily be dressed up or down with some heels (like how I’m wearing it) or with sandals and a denim jacket for a more casual look. Either way it’s a win. The color green is vibrant but not overpowering and the fit is flattering. It’s loose around the hips and the two ties at the top aren’t just for looks, they actually untie so that you can adjust them however tight or loose you want. This makes it easy to customize the fit to your exact body type. The dress also comes in a white version which would be so cute for any brides out there or just a super cute vacation dress for Spring/Summer time in general.
When it comes to sizing I would say the dress runs true to size and length is good (I’m 5’6 and wearing size small for reference).
I want to mention these shoes … I have worn many different types of sandal heels like these and can never last more than a few hours in them. These however are the most comfortable I have ever worn in this style. They have a block heel that is about 3″ and a scalloped detail across the toes. I chose a nude color to go with everything. Trust me these are definitely worth the investment.
As far as sizing for the shoes they run true to size (I’m wearing size 8 in the color Golden Caramel Suede).
